Scopely’s Star Trek™ Fleet Command, the award-winning MMO strategy mobile game, recently unveiled a new campaign featuring Sonequa Martin-Green, star of the CBS All Access hit series Star Trek: Discovery.
The campaign launched with a new cinematic trailer for the mobile game during the season three premier of Star Trek: Discovery on Oct. 15, featuring the voice narration of Martin-Green as Commander Michael Burnham, lieutenant commander of the U.S.S. Discovery.
“I’m so excited to be a part of the Star Trek Fleet Command game as Commander Michael Burnham. The game brings my character to life in a bold new way and gives people a different way to experience Trek stories,” said Martin-Green. “Star Trek Fleet Command is a truly immersive and social universe that brings Trek fans together from all around the world, and I can’t wait to see how Discovery fans react to the new campaign!”
The campaign launches on the heels of an expanded partnership with ViacomCBS Consumer Products, unlocking the potential to gather every Star Trek film and television timeline in one mobile game for the first time. The Discovery arc was recently introduced to Star Trek™ Fleet Command, allowing players to travel beyond the Kelvin timeline for the first time.
Star Trek™ Fleet Command debuted the all-new Discovery arc with a multi-month event featuring new characters, ships, and resources to explore. Players will be able to progress through a multitude of Discovery-themed missions to earn Burnham shards and unlock Commander Michael Burnham as a member of their crew. Players can also unlock the iconic U.S.S Discovery, the fastest ship in the universe, which for the first time allows players to instantly warp around the galaxy using the power of Mycelium.
Additional officer avatars can be acquired through the new Discovery-themed Battle Pass feature. Players can participate in events to unlock the full Discovery crew, including Georgiou, Paul Stamets, Sylvia Tilly, and Saru.
