3…2…1…BLAST OFF!

This month, Scopely brought the entire galaxy of characters and ships to life for the ultimate Star Trek™ gaming experience, fully localized for Korean and Japanese audiences. The launch of Star Trek™ Fleet Command marks the first Scopely title to be localized in Asia and comes on the heels of our entry to and first executive hire in the region, Justin Scarpone, SVP and GM of Asia.

“Korea and Japan represent two of the top four global gaming markets, and each are uniquely different in their appetites and approaches to mobile gaming,” said Justin. “It is deeply important to us that we deliver an exceptional localized experience of this already internationally successful game to Korean and Japanese audiences, welcoming them to immerse themselves with fellow fans.”

“We’re thrilled to bring this iconic IP and the expansive, dynamic and super social Star Trek™ experience we’ve designed to both strategy and role-play gaming fans in Korea and Japan,” said Steve Huff, Vice President of Product and General Manager at Scopely. “We wanted to create a cinematic, action-packed, genre-defying game that embraces the heart of the franchise—exploration, diplomacy and conflict to allow players to experience an entire galaxy of endless gameplay.”
