Tell us a little about yourself and your journey at Scopely.
I am a Director of Product on the Scrabble team and have been working at Scopely for nearly 2 years now. I was born and raised in India, where I got the opportunity to live across different parts throughout my life and now I am based in Barcelona.

What are you currently working on and how does your work impact the company?
We are currently working on redefining the Scrabble product with a clear objective in mind: to cater to our users in the most exceptional way possible. We aim to surpass expectations and deliver a product that not only meets but exceeds the needs and desires of our valued community of players.

What does diversity in gaming mean to you?
As someone who has experienced living in different and diverse regions of India, I strongly believe that diversity in gaming enriches the industry in numerous ways. It leads to a richer and more vibrant industry. It encourages fresh perspectives and innovative ideas and helps in the development of games that resonate with a wider range of players.

Which Scopely culture tenet resonates most with you?
ITERATE TO GREATNESS. I firmly believe that greatness is not achieved in a single stroke, but through a series of iterative steps. It encourages us to gather feedback, analyze data, and make incremental improvements that take us closer to achieving greatness.

What is the best piece of advice you have received?
One of the best pieces of advice I received early in my career was to "Make data your friend." By using a data-driven approach, I learned to rely on insights and evidence-based reasoning to make informed decisions. This has transformed the way I work, empowering me to navigate my career path with confidence and achieve meaningful results.

What's the last good movie/show you watched?
The last show I watched was "The Last of Us." Being a long-time fan of the post-apocalyptic video game series, I was thrilled to see it adapted into a television series providing a more immersive experience. Despite already knowing the story, I am still eagerly waiting for season 2.
