June 12, 2024 – Rev your engines and gather up your dream team! Today, Scopely debuts "Tycoon Racers" in “MONOPOLY GO!”, the game’s first-ever team-based multiplayer event.
Get ready to team up with friends and compete against other teams of Tycoons from around the world - and unlock coveted rewards together. This entirely fresh “MONOPOLY GO!” experience transports players to a thrilling race with the MONOPOLY board at the center of the action, running from June 12 until June 16.
Since debuting in April 2023, “MONOPOLY GO!” has become a mobile sensation that has captivated players around the world and united a global community of MONOPOLY fans. With the introduction of “Tycoon Racers,” players will discover a unique competitive experience that requires teamwork and collaboration, as friends old and new build their top teams and go head-to-head in an epic race to reach the top of the podium.
How it Works:
To Start:
- Build your team: Gather your squad and form a team of 4 before the championship begins. If you don’t have a full team and want to make new friends, the game will automatically pair you up!
- Collect flags: While waiting for the race to start, collect flags on the board to prepare for the upcoming race.
On Race Day:
Your team will be assigned a color and compete against other teams in the 3-Race Championship!
- Collect flags: Use the popper to race your team’s car against three other teams, collecting flags as you go.
- Complete laps and choose rewards: Complete laps with your team and unlock prizes including sticker packs and flags! Choose your rewards wisely to maximize your team’s success.
- Earn prizes: After each race you will earn medals. The team with the most medals after three races wins the grand prize which includes the coveted Wild Sticker, The Tycoon Racer token and more!

The “Tycoon Racer” Worldwide Launch starts at 3PM UTC on June 12 and ends at 8PM UTC on June 16. Each race duration is 25 hours.
