Celebrating Scrabble Day!

On the 72nd annual Scrabble Day, Scrabble GO is celebrating the tradition of gathering around the game board to put your spelling and problem-solving skills to the test against friends and family. Join the party on social media by following @ScrabbleGO on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to participate in the fun:

• Mystery Opponents: The Scrabble GO community is home to millions of players from all walks of life -- including some well-known personalities. Scrabble Day marks the first in a series of Mystery Opponents that players will have the chance to challenge. The Mystery Opponent and their username will be announced at 2pm PT on Twitter -- the first five players to challenge the Mystery Opponent in Scrabble GO will get to play!

• Scrabble GO’s Scrabble Day Share-athon: Now through 4/30, for every player that shares their Scrabble GO board on social with #ScrabbleDay, Scopely will donate to No Kid Hungry, making sure kids get the food they need during school closures and all year long, committing to a minimum contribution of $10,000. To support our global community, for players participating in the Share-athon from outside the US, Scopely will contribute a minimum of $5,000 toward the United Nations World Food Program.

• Scrabble Day Social Party: We’ll be posting your Share-athon submissions of the funniest Scrabble fails, board poetry, and suspicions (those times you’re certain your opponent had a little lexicon assistance) when you post with #ScrabbleDay. Plus, add #NationalScrabbleDayGiveaway to your post and you'll be entered to win a Deluxe Scrabble game board! We'll be randomly selecting a winner every hour^†.
